What should a new air blower unit cost?

the motor in our air conditioning blower (attached to the furnace, and not the unit). I've been given a price to replace this particular piece and a full replacement price for the unit -- both of which I found to be absurd. Can someone tell me what the price of the unit and labor should be to fix the blower? What would the full replacement of the unit cost? Thank you.
