What actresses of today lack that actresses of the past had?

lately i have been getting into classic movies staring actresses like Audrey Hepburn, lauren Bacall, Rita Hayworth, Greta Garbo, Marylin Monroe, Sofia Lauren and Elizabeth Taylor. All these had one thing and that is Presence today's Actresses and don't mean people like Meryl Streep, Diane Keaton, lack that sparkle appearance etc.. But there some that i would put in that category with the greats Would be the likes of Charlize Theron, Natalie Portman, Scarlett Johansson and Amanda Siegfried. But other of today not drawn into watching them.
