Chrysler T&C Van air condition problem-blower slows down the quits, then comes back?

I have a 05 chrysler T&C van. Every now and then the AC blower will start to fade. It slows down and then sometimes to the point of nothing. If turn off the van and let it sit, it will turn back on like nothing happened. Anybody have any ideas? Is the fan going out?
