My gas leaf blower doesn't start. Can you tell me if it's worth fixing?

It has the right mixture of gas and oil. I pulled the gas filter off and reinserted the line into the fuel mixture. I cleaned the air filter. I replaced the sparkplug with the correct plug. Still doesn't start. I must add here that the chamber where the spark plug is inserted seems dry but it smells of gas. I'm so frustrated. This thing is only 2 years old. If I take it in to have fixed, I'm guessing the cost will approach what I paid for it (Craftsman and on sale for $79.99). Any ideas? Thank you.
