Does anybody know how long it takes to become a member of pulseit.com?

i signed up yesterday so i could read darkness becomes her by Kelly Keaton for free with the time limit and it still says that im not a member........i don't know what the heck is going on.If anybody could tell me how long it takes that would be nice because ive been waiting for 2 days and im getting really frustrated.
