Air Conditioner not cooling the house?

Have you checked all of the filters, there are sometimes filters in the unit it's self and often in the vents, or intake vent in the house. I have had that issue, other than that, I would just call a 24 hours heat/air conditioner company. Of course we live in Arizona and if we didn't have cool air, it would be an emergency.
